New England Pentecostal

Sr. Pastor Stanley O. Choate Jr.

Stanley O. Choate Jr. also known as Pastor Lee, was born in 1972 to Bishops Stanley and Ruth Choate. He is the grandson of two great men and a woman of God, the Reverend A Y Choate, and the Bishops Estee and Ida Bell Newman. Suffice it to say, he was raised in the church. He served in almost every capacity. He has taught Youth Bible Study for over 20 years, served on the usher board, is a musician, has played both the keyboard and drums, sang in the choir, and served on the hospitality committee where he would faithfully serve the elderly during all church functions. He truly believes that to be a good Pastor, you must be a good servant.

Pastor Lee received an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science from Hesser College with honors and is a graduate of Rivier College receiving a BA in Computer Science. He is also a graduate of the Greater Awareness Minister’s Program. A program offered by NEP Ministries as an extension of the Vision International Education Network. He is grateful for all his experiences in ministry but also feels that his involvement in the secular world has taught him how to better understand and work with people. He learned in life about being a teammate while playing basketball in high school and college. He has worked as a Software engineer for over 25 years and his involvement with the World Academy Diversity Committee has enriched his ability to work with a very diverse population and to meet people where they are because real ministry is done outside the four walls of a church.

He and his wife, Marsha, have celebrated over 27 years of marriage and they are the proud parents of three beautiful children

Pastor Marsha Y. Choate

Marsha was born in Kingston, Jamaica, and in 1986, she made Nashua, NH her home. Marsha attended Hesser College and received her Associates Degree in the area of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. Following her academic achievements, Marsha accepted Stanley Choate Jr. hand in marriage on December 10, 1994. Together, they are blessed with three wonderful children: Michaela, Brenden, and Jordyn.

Marsha’s dedication to the development of young adults is exemplified by her founding of three pivotal groups: MLR, Book Club, and the 7EVEN-Next-Gen Podcast. Her extensive teaching experience encompasses Bible studies for preschoolers, online classes working alongside her husband, and her current role as an assistant to the Bishops in the young adult bible study classes.

Marsha’s commitment to service extends beyond the church. She has generously volunteered at the New England Pentecostal Food Bank and the Nashua Soup Kitchen. Her dedication is also evident in her role as a PTO Treasurer at World Academy. She has coached girls’ basketball and contributed time to the Festival of Trees, a fundraiser hosted by the Town of Pelham Booster Club.

She is fully submitted to the leading of the Holy Spirit and has demonstrated her faithfulness in putting her hand to plow
